Soft play doesn't have to clash with your living room. Our Bouclé Castle Soft Play Set wraps 11 large foam blocks in soft, textured bouclé, the same fabric you'll find on designer armchairs, so it looks just as good in the lounge as it does in the playroom.
What's included?
- 11 large foam blocks in castle shapes: arches, steps, ramps and towers.
- Soft-touch bouclé covers in calm, neutral tones.
- High-density T-21 upholstery foam for firm, safe support.
- No sharp edges and no assembly.
Suitable from 12 months.
Why bouclé?
Bouclé is a looped, textured fabric that has become a favourite in modern interiors. For children's soft play it has some real advantages:
- It looks like furniture, not a toy. Cream and cappuccino sit beautifully alongside wood, linen and neutral décor.
- It's soft and warm to touch, which makes it lovely for babies and toddlers to crawl and lie on.
- It's a sensory experience. The texture gives little hands something interesting to explore.

Ways to play
- Build a castle with towers, arches and a gateway to crawl through.
- Make an obstacle course of steps, ramps and climbs across the room.
- Create a cosy den or reading corner with the larger blocks.
- Use the pieces as seating for story time or film nights.

Two neutral colours
- Cream: light and airy, perfect for Scandi-style rooms.
- Cappuccino: a warm mid-tone that hides everyday marks well.
Caring for bouclé
- Spot clean with a cloth and mild detergent as soon as spills happen.
- Avoid soaking the fabric or using harsh chemicals.
- Give the blocks a regular brush or vacuum to keep the loops looking fresh.

Frequently asked questions
Is bouclé practical for toddlers?
Yes, as long as you deal with spills quickly. If you want something you can wipe down in seconds, our eco-leather Mini Castle and Castle & Wheel sets are the easier option.
Can it be used in a nursery or play café?
It suits stylish settings like play cafés and family hotels. For high-traffic areas, wipe-clean eco-leather is more practical. Our guide to soft play for nurseries and schools explains the differences.
Is there a smaller version?
Our Mini Castle Set has 6 blocks in eco-leather and is a good choice for smaller spaces.
