A round ball pit is often the first piece of soft play a family buys, and for good reason. It is compact, endlessly entertaining and great for sensory development. Our round foam baby ball pits come in two fabrics, bouclé and cotton, and every one includes 200 balls.
The range
- Bouclé Baby Ball Pit, White, £135
- Bouclé Baby Ball Pit, Pink, £135
- Cotton Baby Ball Pit, Pink, from £130
- Cotton Baby Ball Pit, Light Grey, £135
All are made with certified fabrics and anti-allergic foam, with soft walls that little ones can lean on safely.
Bouclé or cotton?
- Bouclé: a soft, textured, designer look. Ideal if the ball pit lives in your living room and you want it to blend with modern furniture.
- Cotton: a smooth, classic finish in soft pink or light grey. A natural, breathable choice for nurseries.

How a ball pit helps development
- Fine motor skills: grasping and throwing balls strengthens little hands.
- Colour recognition: sorting and naming ball colours.
- Hand-eye coordination: reaching, catching and tracking moving balls.
- Sensory play: the feel of the balls all around is calming for many children.
We cover this in more depth in our ball pit buying guide.
Round or square?
Round pits suit corners and smaller rooms. If you want more space for siblings, look at our square options: the Square Eco Leather Ball Pit (wipe-clean, 200 balls) or the Square Soft Jersey Ball Pit.
Make it a play corner
Pair a ball pit with a slide so children can slide straight in. The Bouclé Mini Slide matches the bouclé pits, or see our ball pit vs step and slide guide.
